Are you are curious person who wants to travel the world? But you are scared? Don’t be! Many pupils and students are unsure whether it would make sense to go abroad for a year or to participate in a student exchange. We say: yes, absolutely. They give you the opportunity to improve your language skills, and you also get to know new cultures. Plus, speaking from experience, it’s so much fun… And because you will communicate with your newly found friends, you will have lots of speaking practice and improve along the way. ☺
But as we Germans may know, “Other countries, other customs.” You will learn about new traditions and new ways of life. This will not only deepen your understanding of the language, but also give you an overview of many different cultures. 🌎
As the team “English – a gateway to the world”, we tried to find the best way to bring the topics year abroad” and “student exchange” closer to our target group – pupils in 8th to 13th grade.
